The 2024 Young Artists Concerto Competition, hosted by the Greater Grand Forks Symphony Orchestra, invites talented student musicians from North Dakota and surrounding areas to showcase their skills. The competition, set for October 12, 2024, at Popplers Music in Grand Forks, offers categories for both high school and collegiate levels. Participants are required to perform a standard repertoire solo piece with orchestral accompaniment, which must be memorized and approved by the GGFSO Music Director. Winners will have the opportunity to perform with the symphony and receive cash prizes. Applications are due by September 13, 2024, with a fee of $25.
