Swope Health's Mobile Medical Unit provides essential healthcare services directly to underserved populations in the Kansas City area, focusing on the unhoused. Equipped with two exam rooms, the unit operates similarly to a traditional clinic and visits homeless shelters and other organizations weekly. Additionally, the Mobile Medical Unit actively participates in community events like Project Homeless Connect and Operation Backpack, offering healthcare services to all community members. The Mobile Dental Unit extends these services to over 85 locations, including schools, enhancing access to dental care.
