Support the Environment

At the Rotary Club of Killeen Heights, our commitment to environmental stewardship is reflected in our active participation in projects that support and enrich the environment. One such initiative is our involvement in the Environmental Enrichment Project, a collaborative effort with District 5870. This project entails providing Rotary benches and trees to clubs for placement in their communities, promoting green spaces and community engagement. This endeavor also intertwines with the Little Free Library project, creating a holistic approach to community betterment.

In addition to the Environmental Enrichment Project, the Rotary Club of Killeen Heights proudly collaborates with the Fort Hood - Central Texas chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) for the TJ Mills Cleanup. This joint effort focuses on cleaning up the main entrance to Fort Hood, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. By actively participating in these projects, the Rotary Club of Killeen Heights is dedicated to making a positive impact on the local environment, fostering community pride, and contributing to a healthier, more sustainable future.
