Cosmetology

The Cosmetology program at Adorabella Beauty Academy is designed to train future salon professionals in a comprehensive range of skills. From cutting and styling to hair coloring, permanent waving, manicuring, skin care, and makeup, we provide the fundamentals needed to excel in the Salon & Spa industry.

Cosmetology Program Highlights:

• 1600 hours of training and testing are required for graduation as per the State of New Mexico.
• Upon completion of the program, graduates will:
• Project a positive attitude, personal integrity, and self-confidence.
• Demonstrate proper grooming, practical communication skills, and visual poise.
• Understand the importance of employer-employee relationships and deliver exemplary service.
• Master basic manipulative skills, including hair styling, shaping, coloring, chemical reformation, scalp/hair conditioning, facials, manicures, pedicures, and nail extensions.
• Apply analytical skills to determine the best makeup, hairstyle, and color choices for clients.
• Utilize theory, technical knowledge, and related information to make sound judgments and decisions.
