Tuition Adjustment

As unique as students and families within our community are, so too, are our financial situations. That being said, the TAP Committee recognizes the need to apply an equitable framework to our program while having the flexibility to look closely at everyone's individual need so that we can work together toward the common goal of providing a Waldorf Education to every child. Every family makes concessions to send their children to this school. We will work together in order to offer Waldorf education for your child. The following are guidelines which we all should consider moving forward, again, offering some flexibility as we work together through this process:

● Your tuition contribution should be a priority and will likely fall in the top priorities of your monthly budget. That being said, it is not our intention for schooling to put you into debt. The goal of the committee is to find a monthly tuition amount that works for both the school and your family.

● As a general rule, if two capable parents are present for the child or children, anticipate being able to pay at least full tuition for one child in the grades.

● Starting or already own your own business? Keep in mind, we will need to see an income statement and/or profit and loss from your business in order to further digest your financial situation. Also remember, Sand-point Waldorf School cannot subsidize your business venture long term.

● Parents who are separated or divorced should make every effort to have one contract and arrange payment responsibilities between themselves. However, if this is not a possibility for you, separate tuition contracts and TAP applications can be arranged.

● During the conversation process, we will discuss personal information as it relates to your expenses and income. This is necessary in order for us to have the best picture of your family’s position.
