All are welcome to collect here; however, no commercial digging is allowed. Enjoy SNGMS hospitality at their mining claim off of North Shore Road, just outside of the Lake Mead National Park boundary.
Varieties of agate can be found here including Christmas agate, lilac agate, and bacon agate. Members of SNGMS are encouraged to deposit their extra material here, so many non-native rocks may be found, some already slabbed!
Access is from the turnoff at mile marker 16 on North Shore Road, in the park. Go to the end of the parking area there; into the wash. At the other side of the wash is a BLM sign pointing to the old Anniversary Mine. Follow the road and you will come to the Ore Car sign.
