In the summer, the crystal clear water of Rifle Gap Reservoir is a haven for water enthusiasts. The long, narrow reservoir is inviting to water-skiers, jet-skiers, and boaters and, often has great conditions for sailing.
Rifle Gap has one boat ramp on the north side of the lake. The beach on the west side of the reservoir is popular for its swimming, and picnic sites.
Boaters be aware that you must stop and get your boat inspected for Aquatic Nuisance Species prior to launch.
