Training

Many business topics are best addressed in small group settings with time and attention focused on the details of the topic. The SBDCs offer 2 hours to 4-hour training programs and seminars on a variety of topics including business planning, marketing, management, legal considerations, accounting and bookkeeping, financial analysis, technology, access to capital, and business basics. Subject area experts deliver training programs for the Virginia SBDCs.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, all business advising will be available by phone, email, and/or by web conferencing only. In-person events have been canceled indefinitely. Relevant webinars may be offered during this period and will be announced by email, social media, and on our website.
