What is Raksati/ What does it mean: Raksati is a Sanskrit word, and Sanskrit is a very, very old language of Yoga. It can be translated to mean ‘rescue’ in English. We are not implying that anyone is being “rescued,” or that they need to be “rescued.” I found Yoga in 2011, and as the Founder, I wanted to name my company this because Yoga saved me from a bad path I was going down in my life at that time, which brings me to my next question:
Why create Raksati: I created Raksati as a way to expand the reach of Yoga to even more people. Raksati Yoga is one half, which offers private classes for a special and uniquely tailored experience, at an affordable rate, that’s hard to find! We will offer community classes priced as a donation only, for everybody to have access in spite of their financial situation.
